Did you know ‘to go back’ is a phrasal verb?!
A phrasal verb is a phrase where the phrase’s overall meaning is different from the meaning of each separate part or each separate word.
It is a verb form that is made up of two parts.
Go back = verb + preposition = phrasal verb.
In the sentence at the very start of the blog article, ‘go back’ means return. It does not mean walk or move backwards!!
