First ‘Pause For Poetry’, I think: Windy Nights
'Windy Nights' is the first poem I shared. The poet, Robert Louis Stephenson, uses personification to describe a storm. I learnt this poem when I was at school.
To be fair, I might have recorded two poems on the same day but I put this on the website first.
Most Musical: The Old Violin
'The Old Violin' poem describes an auctioneer trying to sell a violin.
Most Mathematical: As I Was Going To St Ives
'As I Was Going To to St Ives' is a traditional maths riddle. It is a fun riddle to solve. Watch until the end of the video to find out the answer to the riddle.

'Children Learn What They Live' is an influential poem for educators, parents and carers. It discusses how children's experiences can influence what type of adults they might become.
