Partridge (in a pear tree) X 12 days
12 X 1 =12
12 partridges
2 turtle doves x 11 days
11 x 2 = 22
22 turtle doves
3 French hens X 10 days
10 X 3 = 30
30 French hens
Continue the pattern then add up all gifts
12 partridges + 22 turtle doves + 30 French hens + 36 calling birds + 40 Golden rings + 42 geese + 42 swans + 40 maids + 36 ladies + 30 Lords + 22 pipers + 12 drummers = 364 gifts
