HL Tutoring Services
Sep 2020 Terms and conditions for one to one tuition
Fees for tuition are paid in advance at the agreed rate. See the table below. Extra travel expenses are incurred for distances exceeding 5 miles of HL Tutoring Services’ (LS5) location at £1 per extra mile each way.

I wish to pay for 30 minute lessons on a weekly basis.

A non-refundable payment must be made a week before each lesson or block of lessons in order to secure the time and date of the lesson(s).
HL Tutoring Services reserves the right to charge the client the agreed lesson price if a lesson is cancelled with less than 24 hours of notice.
Lessons will always take place on the day and time agreed, unless it is rearranged for a mutually convenient time.
HL Tutoring Services will not complete assignments on behalf of the learner. Subjects will be taught generally.
HL Tutoring Services will not be held responsible for the academic success or lack of success demonstrated by the learner. HL Tutoring Services will do everything that HL Tutoring Services can to help the learner improve their skills but success cannot be guaranteed.
*Online lessons last a minimum of one hour.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
You'll be given two copies to sign. HL Tutoring Services will retain a copy and you'll keep a copy for yourself.
For online lessons, complete a digital version of the terms and conditions for HL Tutoring Services and email to HL Tutoring Services. Complete using Microsoft Word. No need to print!

CANCELLATIONS
Please try to give plenty of notice if you really have to cancel a scheduled lesson.
Rescheduling* the lesson is the preferred course of action if adequate notice has been given.
If this is not possible you may charged for the full cost of the lesson.
Lessons paid for in advance can only be rescheduled*.
Please check your diary before booking tutoring sessions.
I'm sure you'll appreciate that with enough notice alternative arrangements can be made.
* Subject to HL Tutoring Services' availability.

ENDING TUITION
Please give at least 4 weeks of notice if you wish to end tuition sessions.
